Anthony Minghella died earlier today. What a loss. He was only 54.
I loved The English Patient, I feel his treatment of the material has converted a so-so novel into a masterpiece.
Most recently, I saw Breaking and Entering which isn’t in the same league as The English Patient but it’s still an interesting and thought-provoking movie.

I was browsing Google Video and I came across my favorite scene from Conan the Barbarian.
The music from Basil Poledouris is simply amazing. Barely a word is spoken… what an amazing soundtrack!
Being a huge RPG fan, I love the war paint on Conan’s face (as well as his “party members”). There should be a camouflage skill that checks your war paint and awards you with a bonus on your first attack. A bit like backstab, only not in the back!
Looking at the lighting, I think it’s extremely appropriate for the upcoming Diablo 3 trailer. Hopefully, Diablo 3′s release date will be announced soon.
