I recently completed my first feature film and I’m creating a vlog series to document my experiences and what I went through to finish the movie. I think this vlog would be a good resource for aspiring filmmakers, actors, basically anyone trying to break into the film/tv industry and I was wondering if you wanted to post the videos on your blog somewhere? Free of charge of course.
I know you get this question a lot, but I am on the verge of shooting my first documentary in India (mostly talking heads). I have a Sony handycam HDR-XR550E and I have the required attachments for it too (A professional mike, a tripod with remote control). I have done the research and putting the script down. I was considering the budget and thought of renting a more professional cam.
Can you please suggest, if I should shoot with this Handycam or should I rent a professional one.

SnagFilms is the one of the best companies promoting indie films right now. Of course, there ownership of indieWire helps as well.
